You can permanently delete your account from inside the app. This page explains how, and what happens to your data.
Open Profile → Settings → Delete Account, type DELETE and confirm. Deletion is immediate.
Before deleting: end any call in progress and withdraw Host earnings. Talko will automatically return any unspent Guest balance to the original payment method before deletion completes. If the full balance cannot be returned immediately, the account remains open and no balance is forfeited.
Email help@talko.chat from the address on your account with the subject “Delete my Talko account”. We will verify it is you and complete the deletion within 30 days.
Your sign-in, profile, photo, preferences, favourites, blocks, devices and support tickets. If you signed in with Apple, Talko also asks Apple to disconnect the account.
Payment and call records that we must keep for accounting, fraud-prevention and legal obligations, with your account reference removed; and any safety reports, with the reporter reference removed. See our Privacy Policy for retention periods.
